Letters of Application

A letter applying for employment should contain:

(a) A short introduction stating whether the writer is answering an advertisement or is applying on his

own responsibility.

(b) A statement of his age, education and experience.

(c) A conclusion giving references, testimonials, or an expression of the applicant’s earnestness of purpose.

Letters of application should be in the form of business letters.
